Green beans! we are all finished in the green bean plantings, so you are welcome to come this week again to do some gleaning….the patch will be open to you through thursday, and then we will be tilling in the plants to make room for our cover crop planting. you can come to the farm between 3 7pm.

2017 Csa Week 16 Our first winter squash harvest will be coming in this week but some of our varieties are still sizing up and looking very healthy. we will have to wait a bit longer to harvest some of them and cure them in the greenhouse. I love me a good coleslaw, so consider grating everything in this week’s box into an epic slaw. i am only half kidding. i would not use soft fruits, corn, eggplant or lettuce, but any cabbage, kohlrabi, carrots, turnips, radishes, celeriac, beets, even apples, would be delightful.
