Csa week 8 this week you may have squash, cukes, lettuce, some type of greens, peppers, beans, early mac apples! blueberries, dill? it looks like we may have dill to accompany the cucumbers, courtesy of still life farm. fresh dill is so delightful and such a perfect companion to the cukes.

Next week is thanksgiving, i hope everyone may enjoy those days with loved ones and with time to reflect and connect. this time of the year always makes me want to gather with friends and family, eat lots of food, and sit by a fire. Both stages of caterpillars are covered in stinging spikes, so if you've accidentally touched a caterpillar that set your hand on fire, it may very well have been this one! anyway, that's all for this week. have a great week and don't forget to wash your produce!!. This week will be focused on weeding, trellising tomatoes, fencing (watermelon are sizing up that need protection and deer would love the baby cabbage plants pictured above!), and of course the harvest for you all.
