Csa Week 1 2016 Willowsford farm. This is the only item we ever buy from another farm in your csa box, everythign else that you will receive this summer will be grown on our farm. we haven’t had the field space to devote to planting a couple of acres of asparagus, so we’re happy to buy it from elmer.
Csa Week 8 2016 What’s going on at the farm: we made it to the first week of shares so first i would like to welcome everyone back or to their first season with us! as usual our first box of the year includes many fresh and tender greens. here is the run down on some of them. We'll probably use some of the green garlic in that, too.dr. bb will put the pea shoots in the sandwiches he eats at lunch.we're going to do burgers and fries this weekend (what? it's summer now), so i'll saute the radish greens and mizuna and maybe some of the spinach with some of the green garlic as a side.i actually think we've got this basket under control. Generally the first week we will hand out our stillman’s bags, stillman’s bucks, a box letter (also available on the blog, so please feel free to save paper ;), and your produce, of course.
