Hello csa members! it was nice to have a little break from the heat this past week. we had some rain at pick up yesterday, then the sun came out and it was a beautiful evening. here are some recipes i've been loving lately: pesto, zucchini bread, sauteed collard greens with garlic and red pepper flakes,…. Csa contents: find out what fruits vegetables were in this weeks csa box. including their nutritional benefits, storage recommendations, and recipe ideas. Give 1 tsp a try unless you’re just big on celery seed and want its flavor forward. if you don’t have heavy cream on hand or want to make a vegan substitute, try coconut milk or cream. it worked great. we didn’t have mushrooms on hand but this soup is begging for seared ones to sit on top. We finished up all of our fall transplanting this week. we still have a few more fall crops to direct seed (like the carrots and beets), but that too will be finished before the end of the month.
