Update Chemo Round 3 I have a couple of longer updates and posts in my draft form, but i can’t seem to get them finished, so wanted to give you a quick update on how round 3 of chemo went. Round 3 the morning started early because i had to meet with dermatology before my infusion appointment. thankfully, the rash had already been improving, and the dermatologist confirmed that it was most likely due to the keytruda. Chemo yesterday all went well. my heart went out to the nurses because there were issues for other women in my bay. it’s a delicate balance delivering this very intense medicine. Yesterday was my third dose of chemo. i was looked after by the most wonderful nurse who restored my confidence in the staff after a few recent bad experiences. she introduced herself, took her time to ask me about my treatment, and then really kept a close eye on me all morning.

Tuesday was my third traditional chemo (rituxan) infusion. i continue to take my daily capsule of revlimid. i’ve have had one bad day and a few hours here and there or typical low grade side effects. but the real reason to post this morning was my oncologist’s assessment of my progress.
