Notes on the share green beans!  they are a huge pain to harvest each pod by hand, so we're working on getting our bean harvester up and running.  if all goes well, you'll be receiving more of these (in greater quantities ) in your shares over the next few months. be sure not t. Bring yourselves and something to share. if that is too intimidating, just come and hangout, pack your own picnic or you can always eat corn and tomatoes from us 😉 we’ll walk a little of the farm and be available for questions.

2014 Csa Share Week 12 Notes on the share green beans!  they are a huge pain to harvest each pod by hand, so we're working on getting our bean harvester up and running.  if all goes well, you'll be receiving more of these (in greater quantities ) in your shares over the next few months. be sure not t. We will begin to have bulk flats of strawberries available next week! if you like to make jam, or freeze berries for sauces and smoothies in the winter, now’s your chance!. Squash and cucumbers are still pouring in now but beans and tomatoes are catching up quickly as they make their first appearance in shares this week. we finished harvesting our garlic this week and it is a great looking crop this year!. 2014 winter csa share week #2, december 18th welcome to the second week of the winter share! please don’t forget to return your boxes from the december 4th pick up! remaining winter share delivery dates are as follows: january 8 & 22, february 5 & 19, march 5 & 19, and april 2. this week’s harvest. The recent weather has us feeling hopeful for the coming months. and perhaps this will be the year we figure out how to better balance the work of farming with the work of living. in the meantime, we’re having fun doing both this week. enjoy the vegetables and we’ll see you in two weeks!.
