Yale Infant Mind Cognition Lab The infant mind and cognition lab at yale studies logical cognition and its development, with a focus on preverbal infancy and expanding to young children and adults. She is visiting the infant mind and cognition lab to study the relation between pre verbal disjunction and the linguistic label “or” in the early stages of development. outside the lab, she likes hiking, climbing, baking cakes, and eating them with friends. Since 1990, our team has studied the development of infants and young children. our research examines how babies reason and learn about their physical worlds (such as objects in their environment) and their social worlds (such as the people they interact with). Welcome to yale university’s infant mind and cognition lab! we study how infants and children quickly learn about the physical and social world, and become able to think and talk as we do. Our lab explores how children and adults form causal interpretations, about how the world works, and how these interpretations compare to other ways of tracking information. our lab explores moral reasoning and action in infancy through adulthood. we have a wide variety of projects. The lab investigates the early foundation of logical cognition and its development, focusing on preverbal infancy and expanding to young children and adults. the successful candidate will coordinate the lab research activity and manage multiple research projects. An investigation of the origin of logical quantification: infant's and adult's representations of collective and distributive actions in complex visual scenes nicolò cesana arlotti, tyler knowlton, jeffrey lidz and justin halberda (in prep.).
