Winter 2020 Csa Week 1 Frog Song Organics Organic Farm Central As we look ahead we’re ready to get back to tackling some winter projects. on thursday we’ll have our annual organic inspection and then it’s time to prioritize projects. We had our nwpa growers annual meeting this week where we report to our farmers about last year's csa and discuss plans for the upcoming season. we also elect our board of directors for this year.
Winter Csa Week 6 One of the great joys of four season farming is filling a csa bag with fresh greens in the depths of winter. with nighttime lows pushing 20 below zero this week, we’re especially pleased to have a bag full of tasty greens for you!. Finely shred the kale and massage with olive oil and a pinch of salt until softened and deep green. add the warm roasted vegetables to the kale, drizzle with the turmeric dressing, and toss gently to combine. finish with pistachios and serve warm or at room temperature. We've got a big round of pea tendrils and tatsoi to add to the mix for the following distributions. and we are cruising on some clean up, reorganizing, and building projects that will hopefully make the up coming season a little easier!. Winter Csa Week 4 We've got a big round of pea tendrils and tatsoi to add to the mix for the following distributions. and we are cruising on some clean up, reorganizing, and building projects that will hopefully make the up coming season a little easier!. This year our winter share will begin the second full week in november, and go for 6 weeks until the week before christmas. we will then take two weeks off for the holidays and new year, starting back up for 6 pick ups in january, february, and march, what we call our deep winter weeks.
