Waveform Height Windows Audacity Forum I was working just fine with the waveform of every audio file fitting nicely within the upper and lower envelope boundaries, then i must have accidentally clicked on something, because now the waveforms extend beyond the upper and lower bounds of the envelope on every file i open. One thing you can try is normalizing the track to 0.5 or so. under normal circumstances you should definitely see a waveform in the editor after doing that. if you still can't see anything, you're having some sort of glitch with your audacity install and or your os and or your video hardware.
