Transitional Housing Emily S Place A safe space women come to emily’s place to find a safe space to rebuild their lives. upon arrival, they stay in level 1 community housing. these group homes offer a family like environment with communal living spaces and a private suite for each family as well as 24 hour support staff and security. Emily's place is not a shelter, which typical allows women to stay for 30 90 days. rather, it is a transformational housing ministry based on a 24 month stay commitment which promotes stability and wise choices.
Transitional Housing Emily S Place Emily's place is a transformational housing program for victims of domestic violence. residents in our program are encouraged to remain for up to 2 years, and services include:counseling, vocational assistance, life skills development and spiritual nurturing all within a structured environment. They provide short term or long term housing, depending on the needs of the individuals they serve. each shelter has its own eligibility criteria including age restrictions or gender restrictions. Emily's place provides long term transformational care to women and their children in a shared living environment for up to 24 months. residents are required to abide by house rules to be respectful of the safety and privacy of the other residents. Emily’s place is a non profit that provides long term transitional housing and programming for women and children who have experienced domestic violence.
