Let’s not mince words, redfall is absolutely awful. the latest title from arkane studios is not only a massive disappointment, but the first black mark in an otherwise flawless body of work in.

I was turned off at release, but when i revisited redfall later in 2023, i was pleased to find a pretty good game waiting for me that i thoroughly enjoyed. ultimately, the game died a death, support ceased, and the studio that developed the game, arkane austin, was shut down. I didn't come to redfall to play destiny, i already played destiny today. the enemies aren't a threat, the world is boring and graphically dull, the gameplay is serviceable at absolute best, and the dialogue is mediocre. Redfall went really wrong during its development, so here is the full reason why the game is perceived to be so bad or disappointing.
