My idea is to make any sort of damage that happens automatically due to a set bonus or a pet do non lethal damage. this means they would not be able to kill the mob, broodmother, but leave it at one hp. this could let the active players finally get a hit in on the broodmother and have them get drops without afkers stealing them.

Everyone knows abiphones as the handy devices that allow you to call any npc from anywhere. just click them, meet the requirements, and you have their contact forever or at least, until you remove it. for the longest time, udel oversaw the manufacturing, production, and distribution of abiphones. Almost every dwarven mines lobby has either one or more afkers in the goblin burrows, one afker at the ice wall and a macroing afker at ghosts. the dwarven mines lobby i was in had 7 afkers come and go from goblins. For my current slime setup, it's worse to be on the island, since i didn't realize the slimes could phase through literally anything and didn't make a 2 layer fence between each minion. i have no intention of re designing that layout, because it was a pain to re do the first 3 times. Afkers wouldn’t be on as much otherwise, so boosting their player numbers is the only reason i can think of.
