Organisers of the iris prize lgbtq film festival – celebrating global stories and cardiff charm are thrilled to announce the final six awards from this year’s festival. the awards were presented by michael karam this evening (27 november) at the atrium theatre, university of south wales.

Organisers of the iris prize lgbtq film festival – celebrating global stories and cardiff charm are thrilled to announce the final six awards from this year’s festival. the awards were presented by michael karam this evening (27 november) at the atrium theatre, university of south wales. We will award the iris prize funding grants annually to three outstanding young people who best embody the spirit of the iris project; championing the protection and restoration of nature, and the rights of those who defend it. the iris prize was established in memory of iris goldsmith. The iris prize is an international lgbtq film prize and festival open to films by, for, about or of interest to gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender or intersex audiences, and which must have been completed within two years of the prize deadline.
