Georgia Legislative Internship Program Information Session The georgia state senate offers internships during each legislative session through its senate intern program. approximately 30 students from georgia's public and private universities and colleges get firsthand experience in the lawmaking process if they are selected to participate in the program. Class registration: november 10, 2025 placement interviews: mid december 2025 orientation: wednesday, january 7 friday, january 9, 2026 first day of legislative session: monday, january 12, 2026.
