Advanced Practice Toolkit This tool kit and the templates included are designed to assist people in planning around these key areas, and may be amended to the specific requirements of the service. This fourth version of the multi professional advanced practice research toolkit (gaskin 2023; gaskin, hoverd, finney 2025) aims to unify the content of the toolkit with the multi professional practice based research capabilities framework (nhse 2024) and the updated multi professional framework for advanced practice in england (nhse 2025). Advanced practice research pillar 4.1 critically engage in research activity, adhering to good research practice guidance, evidence based strategies are developed and applied to enhance quality, safety, value for money. I have received requests to implement the toolkit from individual advanced practitioners and organisations across england and scotland, resulting in invitations to present the toolkit at numerous local and regional advanced practice events and webinars.
