2023 2024 Math Team Young Scholars Middle School The 2023 2024 math team has 16 members, and is headed by the team captain hannah koncoski. the team includes students in grades 5 through 8. by the end of the year, team members will have participated in 5 local math league competitions as well as the regional competition for the national mathcounts competition at the beginning of february. Who are we looking for? we are currently looking for a passionate hardworking middle school math teacher to join the yscs team and work with us to imagine new possibilities in education. the teacher in this role will be working with 7th grade students.
2023 2024 Math Team Young Scholars Middle School We have a record breaking number of participants this year in math team! we currently have 19 students participating in practices, and will have our first competition on november 19th. Welcome mathletes! the math club at yscp participates in two main competitions: local math league meets and the national mathcounts competition. Practices for the upcoming year of math team will start either in late september or early october. please let me know if you or your student would like more information. After unsuccessfully searching for a program that provided the curriculum, community and connection desired, with the help of an incredible team she founded young scholars. matt is a former middle school math teacher with a stellar record for having the most improved math students in the school.
