Representing 70 nations, young global leaders are nominated by alumni to serve six year terms and are subject to veto during the selection process. Representing nearly 50 countries, the 2025 ygl class includes prime ministers, founders of unicorn companies, nobel laureates, musicians, and academics, all united by a common goal: creating positive, lasting impact in an increasingly complex world. Through a world class 3 year leadership development programme, we challenge them to realize their leadership potential by joining forces to achieve more together than they could alone. Each year, we select 100 outstanding individuals from thousands of candidates worldwide to join our community. we’re looking for people who have not only excelled in their fields, but who also bring the insight, curiosity, and drive needed to help shape what’s next. We identify and champion ways to scale up, amplify and accelerate their impact, to make more of a difference in their communities and beyond.
