Each prior album had some sort of thematic through line, a story or just a general “feel” that brings it all together, but wotp lacks that. but again, i really enjoy it and listen to it pretty regularly. Its hard for me to judge placement for resistance 2nd law wotp, i feel like they all tie, ya know? the resistance feels like it deserves a higher spot because of the guitar driven stuff on the album, and 2nd law is way better than i remember it being. Still need to hear most of those, but dawn fm and wotp are definitely amazing. although i don't think it's as good as radiohead's work, a light for attracting attention is an amazing album. Noise complaints are temporary, wotp is forever! personally, i don't think twop has the resistance's staying power. i'd say it's about on par with t2l, and i do like it better than drones and st. but i have to say, this may be the single most fun muse album.
