Workshop For Immunization Coverage Improvement Plan Held The workshop is a continuation of the itsu ministry of health and family welfare comprehensive review of universal immunization coverage in the state which was held from june 11 18. Workshop for dissemination of comprehensive uip review development of immunization coverage improvement plan was held on july 3, at de oriental hotel kohima. The workshop highlighted significant recovery since the launch of the bcu initiative in 2023 to address immunity gaps widened by covid 19. countries reported meaningful reductions in zero dose children, improved antigen coverage and increasing integration of catch up into routine systems. In this workshop, it will discuss multi dimensional challenges in immunization programs, ranging from logistical constraints in archipelagic and rural areas, post immunization follow up management (aefi), to strategic issues such as multiple injections and vaccine doubts.
