Workshop A Roadmap For Trustworthy Ai Tailor The handbook of trustworthy ai provides an overview of the main dimensions of trustworthiness and problems related to the developing of ethical and trustworthy ai systems. A set of core work packages have been set out by the tailor project to overcome these challenges and reach our shared goal of in making europe a global role model in responsible ai.
The Tailor Roadmap Shows The Path Towards Trustworthy Ai Tailor Each programme will form virtual research environments with many of the best ai researchers in europe addressing the major scientific challenges identified in the roadmap and a collection of mechanisms supporting innovation, commercialisation and knowledge transfer to industry. The purpose of the project is to build the capacity to provide the scientific foundations for trustworthy ai in europe. by developing a network of research excellence centres, tailor provides leverage and combine learning, optimisation, and reasoning. Linköping university is coordinating tailor, a eu project that has drawn up a research based roadmap intended to guide research funding bodies and decision makers towards the trustworthy ai of the future. By fostering cross disciplinary dialogue and catalyzing new collaborations, the workshop aims to chart pathways for deploying agentic ai responsibly and at scale, ensuring that its benefits are realized broadly and equitably.

The first draft, by main authors michela milano and marc schoenauer, was made available and discussed at a workshop in february 2022. the workshop was attended by more than 80 participants, and several important improvements were made to the original draft following participants input. The tailor project brings these groups together in a single scientific network thereby reducing the fragmentation and increasing the joint ai research capacity of europe to take the lead and advance the state of the art in trustworthy ai.
