Designed for working professionals, the program integrates amia’s education standards to build critical data and technology skills that drive innovation and improve patient outcomes in healthcare. Dista is driving impact through strategic training in applied public health, a comprehensive workforce development program designed to strengthen and expand the public health workforce.

Usf strives to align our academics and programs to develop the workforce of tomorrow. in addition to traditional career services, usf also offers other initiatives to support the needs of employers across the nation, including research, workforce training, and philanthropic efforts. Usf lifelong learning is comprised of five distinct entities working together to fulfill its lifelong learning strategy. the primary objective of this unit is to expand usf's educational offerings to the community, with a particular emphasis on workforce development and economic growth. Since its launch in october 2022, dista has been dedicated to public health workforce development through comprehensive, multidisciplinary, competency based, and tiered training for public health professionals at all stages of their careers.
