We were taken with creating a self portrait made out of one continuous line of wire. we explored many variations of expressions and moved forward with our favorite!.

Lucy is sculpted from polymer clay — a blend of bees putty and living doll — and reinforced with a wire armature that extends all the way to her fingers and toes. she wears a sheer silk gown, hand dyed to evoke a ghostly elegance. the jewelry was handcrafted by me, adding a personal touch to her ethereal presence.
