My research interests include quantitative methods for analysis of traffic and transport systems, traffic modelling and simulation of intelligent transportation systems and autonomous vehicles. Due to the advancement of technology, it is predicted that automated vehicles (avs) may help reduce congestion and improve safety [7 – 9]. from a traffic flow viewpoint, avs can benefit from smaller headway due to automation features [10, 11].
