I had a lazy morning at camp on the second morning, having been woken up throughout the night by the wind battering the tent after a quick stop off at foel ddu’s 477m summit to admire the views of the rhinogs to the east, i headed down along the westerly side of foel wen and down into the valley, before taking on my next hill; 589m moelfre. On the last day of january, i decided to try out my tiny tent for a cold camp. i don’t really enjoy the cramped feel of small shelters like this (snugpak ionosphere), but i thought that being such a small space, it might retain heat better than a bigger hiking tent. A beautiful, 2 night jaunt in early spring, camping, swimming and hiking in the hills 🌿 love nature always leave no trace 💚 more.

On the last day of january, i decided to try out my tiny tent for a cold camp. i don’t really enjoy the cramped feel of small shelters like this (snugpak ionosphere), but i thought that being such a small space, it might retain heat better than a bigger hiking tent.
