Showdown So i haven't played a competitive match on pokémon showdown for a long time, and i have multiple reasons for this. competitive pokémon is something that i used to enjoy, and i still wish i liked it. You answered your own question. it's because you are new. i am also new to this game and suck hard. best we can do is keep at it, learn from our mistakes, and move on. just like with anything else, it will take practice to get good. I’ve got to ask if you’ve actually played showdown or just going off of what you see in videos. in my experience, 99% of the time, players are pretty chill and friendly. Not a fan of battle royale. you don't get dropped randomly onto a map with no weapons, armor, or support. you don't have to scramble to be the last person standing, as leaving early and dipping.
