Why Do The Renders On The Sonic Lego Sets Look So Bad R Sonicthehedgehog I’m gonna be honest with you guys, i was never a fan of the sonic sprite from 1 and cd. despite it being the original, i didn’t like the color way or the overall sprite itself. Although some other games render hair and foliage just fine without taa and in my opinion, sonic frontiers is one of these games that can still look good without taa if you don't mind seeing some jaggies. the prerendered cutscenes for some reason are horribly compressed for 1080p 1440p. Sega does all these little things to micromanage sonic's appearance and rarely does it make any sense to me. but somebody at sega was paid to change it, so it means it mattered to them, so i think it's completely normal for sonic fans to see that and wonder. Arguing about sonic seems like the gamer equivalent of star wars. everyone has this idea of what they enjoy, but spends more time hating on it than anything else.
