Welcome to r onepiece, the community for eiichiro oda's manga and anime series one piece. from the east blue to the new world, anything related to the world of one piece belongs here! if you've just set sail with the straw hat pirates, be wary of spoilers on this subreddit!. Edit: i see a lot of people mentioning that that's how it was in the manga, and if it was important then it would be in the manga. but that was minor to the main point i was making. As a part of my ongoing watchable wano project (a one pace style fan edit of episodes 1031 onwards), i've released an edit of episode 1071 that fixes a lot of personal issues i had with it.
One Piece Edit R Animeedits Edit: i see a lot of people mentioning that that's how it was in the manga, and if it was important then it would be in the manga. but that was minor to the main point i was making. As a part of my ongoing watchable wano project (a one pace style fan edit of episodes 1031 onwards), i've released an edit of episode 1071 that fixes a lot of personal issues i had with it. I've seen some scenes that are actually edited to be too fast, and it kind of knocks the wind gravity out of the scene. it's a fine balance and a good editor is worth their weight in gold for this reason. Definitely use one pace instead of the anime. once you start feeling the pacing issues (which start around ep 350 400 ish, but don’t get terrible until the timeskip), use one pace. one pace skips all filler and padded scenes, fixes the pacing, and you don’t miss any content. After finding the various edit projects on this sub, i wanted to put them all in one post to help others find them. obviously this is just my opinion for how best to watch but mix and match as you like. Quality changes are just because this anime exists for about 15 years, so it's only natural for the video quality itself to improve over time. edit: in the anime, the change between old one piece and new one piece is alot more clear than in the manga.
