What Is The Land Preservation Committee The designation committee is responsible for reviewing applications for new city of dallas landmarks and historic districts. the designation committee is an advisory committee appointed by the landmark commission and is made up of landmark commissioners and citizens. Our mission is to conserve natural areas in texas and to protect the physical and ecological integrity of their water, wildlife habitat, native plant communities, and scenic landscapes.
Land Preservation Lake Soil Water Conservation District The lpc, or landmarks preservation commission, is a city organization charged with protecting various historic districts and buildings. if your project falls within a historic district or is an individually landmarked building, you are required to gain approval from the lpc before any work can be done.
