Volunteers The Lantern Lantern volunteers work anywhere from 1 2 days a week to 1 2 shifts a month. we are very flexible. volunteers must work 4 shifts a year, and be able to access email on a consistent basis. At the lantern network, volunteers power our mission — from mentoring students and supporting career development to helping with events, media, and outreach. whether you can give a few hours a month or commit to a project, your time makes a difference.
