The goal is to engage students in using art as a guide to healing, managing stress levels, connecting with others, and building resilience. each class session will include a conversation topic and an art practice which will encourage communication and expression. This workshop examines the manufacture, spread, and cross fertilization of blue and white porcelain production both as an example of multi cultural exchange spanning a millennium, and also as a model for understanding global economic patterns today.
Transformative Culture Project The goal is to engage students in using art as a guide to healing, managing stress levels, connecting with others, and building resilience. each class session will include a conversation topic and an art practice which will encourage communication and expression. This workshop examines the manufacture, spread, and cross fertilization of blue and white porcelain production both as an example of multi cultural exchange spanning a millennium, and also as a model for understanding global economic patterns today. The arts – including music, drama, dance, visual arts, literary arts, media arts, digital arts, circus arts and more – have tremendous potential to support transformative education. The intervention consisted of a three‐day project led by lucero in which nine arts teacher students were familiarised with modes of operation as a conceptual artist. This empirical study aimed to introduce the concept of destruction and transformation into secondary school art education as a potential way of incorporating conceptual and contemporary artistic practices. Based on these gaps, an integrative three stage model is proposed: visual exploration, deep learning analysis, and pjbl based creative project development. this model aligns with the 2025 curriculum and supports the development of visual literacy, critical thinking, creativity, and cultural awareness.
