Vichub Vichub Ausag Futuredroughtfund Droughtpreparedness The vichub pipeline is a 2 km transmission pipeline located in gippsland, victoria which links the victorian transmission system (vts) and the eastern gas pipeline (egp). the vichub pipeline was completed in 2004 and is owned and operated by jemena (jemena vichub pipeline pty ltd abn 61 085 550 689). it transports natural gas. The victoria drought resilience adoption and innovation hub is one of eight national hubs funded by the australian government through the future drought fund, to enhance drought preparedness and resilience through economic, environmental, and community initiatives. Jemena vichub is a strategic gateway into and out of the declared wholesale gas market, linking the gas markets of nsw and act to victoria, assisting shippers to manage risk and optimise their gas portfolios.
