Värttinä Womex Celebrating their 20th anniversary year on 2003, varttina is an exciting and groundbreaking ensemble fromted by three dazzling female singers. they have produced nine albums, six of which topped world music charts in europe, america and japan and one of which was certified platinum. Värttinä will receive the womex artist award and give a concert at the ceremony taking place on sunday 21 october. the very popular co nordic showcase concept nordic club is back again this year: finland, norway, sweden and denmark bring in one performer each.
