Uxtheme Patch Loops Login Screen Windows 7 Forums
Uxtheme Patch Loops Login Screen Windows 7 Forums I recently tried to install some custom themes and no matter what software i used to patch the system files i would get the same result. once i reboot the windows login screen will loop saying please wait. Various ways of doing so can be found here. click file > load hive reboot. your system should boot properly now. you can remove the software by uninstalling from installed programs. if you think you encountered a bug i'd like to ask you to post an issue.
Uxtheme Patch Loops Login Screen Windows 7 Forums Hey everyone, i installed a registry edit to put a "take ownership" option on the right click context menu so i could easily swap my uxtheme.dll and related files quickly (add take ownership option shortcut in right click menu of windows 7). Once you log on to a user account with a malfunctioning theme, it's back to the black grey flashing etc screen, however you can still reboot and get back to the login screen as long as you don't have auto login configured via netplwiz. To get rid of the logon screen loop, try startup repair at least five consecutive times with restarts . when it logs on to windows successfully, then try to apply the theme. Try using a different theme patcher and report back on the results. that's actually the patcher i've been using and it has worked for me for over 2 years now. i have no idea why i suddenly had this problem. anyway, i tried using a different patcher, uxstyle and it works!.

On my low end netbook, i patched uxtheme using universal theme patcher. when i rebooted windows, the loading screen started blinking on and off and it wouldn't load. To everyone using these patchers, i truly suggest using a program (created by the guy who originally made these uxtheme patches) called uxstyle which runs at startup and allows use of custom themes. Ultrauxthemepatcher modifies your system files so that 3. party themes can be used. you can download windows themes from third parties and activate them (e.g. from deviantart ). the program backups the original system files and all changes can be undone by uninstalling if you have issues.
