Us Elevators Prints R Elevators Cubic corporation, the corporation that owned u.s. elevator corp., "exited the elevator manufacturing business" in 1993, and thyssen sold most of their elevators in the united states under u.s. elevator corp., with the same designs as previously used. It's probably one of those shitty guardian relays getting stuck on. those things are a disaster. very known for armatures getting stuck on. i work in san diego, the home of us elevator. there's a million of those things around here still.
Elevators Unforgettable Designs I am looking for some old 70's prints for a us elevator. specifically 1971. any one have anything? i am having an issue where the elevator stops about 6 8" away from the floor whether it's coming up or down. seems to be in conjunction with step up step down switch activation. but the relays are all testing fine. I have an understanding of how an elevator runs, safety strings etc, but i pick up a print and it might as well be in chinese. my goal is to be able to follow a print all the way through and be able to troubleshoot issues that way. Looks like the same dude who created some of the u.s. elevator prints. map of the internet 1973. yeah, they do look like the simplified us prints. once you learned how to read them they had a remarkable amount of info. right down to what pin number the signals entered the boards. That’s an old century elevator controller, i most definitely have prints. don’t start interchanging relays, must have a print. I’ve got a garaventa platform lift on my route. the prints for the job are not in the pouch behind the controller cover. model hy us sw 168 i know….
