Powhatan School 2022 Upper School Retreat Pca upper school students (9th through 12th graders) begin every school year on a two day retreat to seek the lord and build community among their classmates. this year's retreat took place. Over the years, some of the best lessons of teamwork and problem solving stem from upper school retreat. students often refer to the challenge activities as the most memorable and fun part of upper school retreat. we rotate challenge activities each year, so that the experience stays exciting.
Powhatan School 2022 Upper School Retreat Our upper school students have traditionally gone on an overnight retreat the first two days of school to bond after the summer break, reset before the business of school rigors set in and get to know new students. Sbs upper school students, faculty, and parents alike experienced god’s power and goodness through sermon, worship, and fellowship during the annual upper school retreat, held sept. 14 16 in rockbridge, virginia. The following morning, students gathered together one last time to listen to a devotional from upper school principal laura smith and singing the fight song. this retreat gave students time to have fun and grow closer as brothers and sisters in christ before the school year begins. The annual upper school retreat at the vajta conference center was a wonderful time of bonding, community building, and exhaustion as the seniors led the events and activities.
