With member led chapters in major cities throughout the state, stewards of the wild chapters engage 21 45 year old outdoor enthusiasts by hosting exclusive events to raise awareness of conservation issues facing future generations. Stewards of the wild, texas parks and wildlife foundation’s conservation leadership program, equips emerging leaders aged 21 to 45 w ith opportunities to actively participate in the stewardship of texas’ wild things and wild places by providing education, networking, and outdoor experiences. Sharks are being overfished globally, killed as bycatch or for their fins to make shark fin soup. the shark fin trade contributes to plummeting shark populations across the world. Shark steward’s mission is to save endangered sharks and rays from overfishing and the shark fin trade, and protect critical marine habitat through the establishment of marine protected areas. with your help, we will achieve this mission!.
