University Of Antwerp Recap Preterm The recap project will be executed by the departments of epidemiology and social medicine, and primary & interdisciplinary care – unit disability studies of the faculty of medicine and health sciences. This node is part of the recap preterm data platform, a platform that allows researchers to find and use data from participating very preterm (vpt) and very low birth weight (vlbw) cohorts to answer research questions using novel tools and methodologies.

University Of Antwerp Recap Preterm This paper describes the development and use of the recap preterm classification system as a fundamental component of the recap preterm platform to aid data harmonisation and inform data collections for future vpt birth cohort studies. The recap preterm cohort platform, will bring together extensive data from 23 population based cohorts of children and young adults born very preterm from 13 european countries as well as further cohorts from around the world. The eu funded recap preterm project proposes to develop a platform for supporting detailed studies on various factors related to vpt vlbw populations that cannot be easily explored in national cohorts. its diverse representation will also support research and innovation through data integration. We investigated the association of maternal education with cognitive outcomes in european vpt birth cohorts.

We investigated the association of maternal education with cognitive outcomes in european vpt birth cohorts. The recap preterm platform promotes collaborative research by pooling data from very preterm cohorts and provides exciting opportunities to generate new knowledge about the consequences of preterm birth. During a 2 year period (january 1, 1999, to december 31, 2000), perinatal data of all inborn births with a ga between 22 and 26 completed weeks, ie, up to 26 weeks and 6 days' postmenstrual age, were collected in all perinatal centers in belgium. Background: studies are sparse and inconclusive about the association between maternal education and cognitive development among children born very preterm (vpt). It defines populations (a set of individuals sharing the same selection criteria for enrollment in a study) with data collection events (a collection of information on one population over a specific period of time, e.g. baseline, follow up 1, follow up 2).
