Unity Installation Questions Answers Unity Discussions Unity download assistant is a small sized executable file provided as .exe for windows and .dmg for macos. the download assistant guides you through downloading and installing unity editor and other components together. The unity discussions (previously unity forums & unity answers) is a place for you to ask questions, discuss, help others, and get help from peers regarding unity development. I am installing unity (not unity hub), but whenever i install it it goes halfway through the installation, says it is executing unitysetup64.exe, verifies the installer, and then asks me for admin password. Despite the error, i have absolutely no unity tasks running in task manager, and therefore and completely confused and stuck with this problem. any ideas for a solution?.

To fix this you can change the location of your temp folder temporarily to install the unity version you are wanting. change the temp system variable to be set to the location in a folder on the drive that has the most space. During installation, when i had already selected the installation path, during the installation i had an error “installation is paused.” and i could not continue the installation. It's been a year, still can't install unity. what even? installed a new version for a project and it worked for the first time, but not the second? i download unity before with the version 2021.3.4f, but there is some problem happen force my to try to reinstall unity. I’m trying desperately to install unity and get stuck in, but every time i go through the process of installing it, it looks like it’s working fine but then when it gets to the end of the process, nothing has happened.
