Underpass Mural Project Ramsay Community A dark and dingy underpass on 12 street s.e. now has a vibrant new mural to brighten it up. the project, near 11 avenue s.e., is on the west wall of the southbound side of the road, and. Over 150 volunteers came out over a 3.5 week span to hand paint this highly detailed mural, containing stories and secrets about the neighborhood, gathered from locals. Together with the ramsay community association, they’ve coordinated with both the city of calgary and cpkc (formerly cp rail) to animate the underpass with a bright and colourful mural. the mural design will be inspired by hyper local histories, stories, and myths from the neighbourhood.
