My ‘collection’ of early early mustangs is quite patchy, amt initially brought out the ’64 ½ as a convertible with optional vinyl roofed hardtop, as stock, custom, show car or fictional race versions. According to scalemates, this kit was issued in 1965, once again in 1967 and this one in 2017. it includes a foldout of round 2 kits from 2016. the molding is actually in quite good shape and it is a very simple kit. the tires for this are plastic and there is a nicely done chrome sprue. With many features including opening doors and hood, folding seats and vinyl tubing to emulate wiring and hoses for the motor, this model builds into an authentic replica in a grand scale!.
