Um New Campus Project Large scale sports facilities on the new campus will include a multi purpose indoor sports complex, an indoor swimming venue, an outdoor olympic stadium, and an outdoor multi purpose court. Umecb sought to be an aspiration in a form of university of malaya commitment as one community working synergically toward a more sustainable campus in the future.

Um New Campus Project Um master plan 2050 is to guide the development of the campus in alignment with its strategic plan 2025 and transformation plan 2050. the master plan incorporates conserving and restoring buildings of national importance (heritage buildings and sites), protection of its green lung and water bodies including local biodiversity. One of the focus areas in um transformation plan stated the transition of um to adopt a smart campus initiatives for a cleaner, greener, safer, connected and seamless campus community experience. With careful planning and implementation for the new um master plan presented, we have no doubt that our proud university of malaya can once again be in the forefront of the world’s best universities!. On 27 june 2009 um learned about the approval of the new campus bill, and in september of the same year um set up a management team for the phase 1 works of the new campus project (ncp).

The university of malaya is a 750 acre campus located south west of kuala lumpur bordering the suburb of petaling jaya. being a long standing campus, its existing infrastructure is in need of an upgrade to cater for current and future plans. Our strategic outlook at the moment frames umsdc in providing innovative solutions for a sustainable future, by using um campus as a space for creative experimentations and the nurturing of sustainable lifestyle and culture. Umlead will be um’s new centre offering premier and advanced bespoke leadership and professional programmes. these programmes will be designed to suit different market segments of professional education catering primarily to c suite level and above, both in the public and private sectors.
