In this article i will share the breakdown how i created the desert sand dunes and the pyramids environment quickly utilizing tools and assets that are available for ue4.

Sci Fi Modular Environment Polycount This ue4 project started as my course work for organic world building cgma course by anthony vaccaro. none photo based textures were used, all textures (highpolys for bake) were either sculpted in zbrush or generated in sd. So i wanted to create an environment that captures the feeling of this piece of art. i also didn't want to create just a single shot environment, i want to make a 360 scene with the concept as centerpiece. You have to assess your entire environment and everything that's to be on screen animated characters, vfx, weapons items powerups, environment etc. i'm intending on keeping the polycount of models relatively low, and focusing on normal maps and texturing to bring out the fidelity.
