Tutorial Shading By Irete On Deviantart I'm going to try this technique in procreate. i use multiply for shadows, but i usually use the base color to create the shadows instead of any grays. your technique would save me a lot of time. though i've never used the "gradient" tool before. not 100% sure what it does, i'm still learning about layers. Character featured is aurora owned by stellasworld on toyhouse. please keep in mind that this is just how i shade my art, not the only or "correct" way to do so. i am not a proffessional! and flease forgive any of my gramatical errors in the text lmao. feel free to ask questions in the comments! : ).
