Tryouts Melbourne Tigers Tryouts are the selection process for securing a position on one of the representative teams. tryouts normally commence on the last friday for the boys and last sunday for the girls of the september school holidays. 2025 26 vjbl tryouts registration is now open! 🐯 ‼️ new to vjbl (u14, u16, u18) sunday 21 september please note new to rep tryouts are not necessary.

Melbourne tigers are looking for boys & girls, to try out for representative basketball. playball basketball is an after school basketball competition for primary school age, boys and girls. it includes training, so children learn the skills of the game, and develop effectively. Once registration has been confirmed the player will be emailed their try out number, prior to attending tryouts. the assigned number will be the player’s number for all tryout sessions and players must be marked in clear black marker on their right leg (lower calf), and upper left arm before attending each tryout. Designed to prepare players for tryouts, the program focuses on refining skills essential for competitive play and potential selection in a melbourne tigers junior team. The melbourne tigers reserve the right to adjust team selections following the tryout phase, the age group head coaches at each level, in consultation with the team head coaches and by approval of the head of coaching (hoc) director of coaching (doc), may adjust teams to balance out positions.
