Below is a step by step guide to starting a bot game. power on your chessup 2 board. make sure all of the pieces are set up in their starting position. select the "play bots" option from the home screen. if you have a saved game, a new window will appear showing 3 options. resume continue the saved game from where you left it.

I only get the error when i played a game on chess and then tried bots or was in the queue and canceled and then tried bots. ok so the exiting player vs player play and then going to bots must be the bug. we will look into it. for now, restarting the board should clear that. I use this workaround to play the monthly bots before they’re added to the built in touchscreen, but it also works to play live games. helpful if there’s a bug preventing you from playing (like right now). There is a setting that defaults to “none” in the playing bots on the board section. it’s a slide setting with options such as novice, intermediate and advanced and then there is a “selected piece” option underneath with options such as blunder, mistake etc.
