Tree Planting Workshop The Intertwine Tree lined streets make the space more usable by pedestrians on hot summer days, reduce run off of pollutants into our streams, and even have been shown to reduce crime. learn how to plant a tree while getting to know your neighbors and greening your community. no experience necessary. We’re working to bring together neighborhoods, government, partners and businesses to create inclusive and sustainable action plans for urban tree planting and stewardship.

Tree Planting Workshop Buffalo Green Fund With 100 public, private and nonprofit urban & community forestry professionals and advocates, the purpose is to improve communication and collaboration, develop best practices and shared resources, and advocate for forward thinking local and state tree policy to accelerate outcomes at scale. In a small group setting, participants will learn how to better care for their communities—through tree stewardship, youth led projects, advocacy, and creative storytelling. whether it’s planting, pruning, mapping, or art making, leaf is a place for youth to explore how trees can be tools for change, healing and connection. A native plant slideshow will highlight characteristics and desired growing conditions of many local favorite native groundcovers, shrubs and trees. you’ll walk away with loads of information so you can decide which native plants will work well in your yard.
