Home Transitions Research We are a goa based social science research collective examining radical transitions at the interface of technology, society, and sustainability. we use our insights to catalyse social and behavioural change that lies at the heart of these transitions. We study radical transitions that will shape india’s long term future. we conduct multidisciplinary research on the complex interplay between technology, society and sustainability in.

Transitions Research The transitions research group brings together scholars from different institutions, on different continents, and at different career stages whose research personal interests center around transitions within, across, and beyond work. We propose a framework that enables this reflection: the so called ‘transition research onion’. subsequently, we utilize this framework to systematically assess 217 peer reviewed papers in the field of transition studies, to distill key methodological patterns and trends of the field. Our research helps designers transition into the next step. understanding users doesn’t have to be this scary. transitions research is a human factors consultancy that provides designers with a deeper understanding of whom they are designing for. Based on our literature review we propose three particularly promising areas for further diversifying future research on socio technical transitions towards sustainability: theoretical bridging, novel methods, and multi scalarity across multiple sectors.
