A complete refurbishment of the main staircase provides an entirely dedicated, modern and inspiring entrance into the new sixth form centre, directly from the horse shoe lawn. Within the changing dynamic of our sixth form environment, the student teacher relationship adapts to more relaxed delivery of lessons in dedicated workspaces at our sixth form centre. From the homely warmth of the prep school to olympic standard sports facilities and science laboratories of senior school. high tec it suites, the library hub and the buzz of the sixth form common room, tormead has a wealth of dedicated spaces to inspire a love of learning. Our facilities for learning are first rate, such as our beautifully constructed main teaching block, atrium and sixth form centre; harder to see is our wireless network, which has allowed us to introduce ipads into lessons as part of our digital strategy as an apple distinguished school.
