After a brief fight to test his skills (where toriko proves to be no match at all for ichiryuu), toriko is off with komatsu to vegetable sky to find the ozone grass. the following 4 episodes pertaining to the ozone grass surprisingly are very enjoyable. Toriko 's fourth block of episodes is the most balanced one yet: it's got action, exploration, world building, personal bonding, and of course eating—all in reasonable amounts. Toriko is a gourmet hunter searching for the most precious foods in the world so he can create his full course meal. a man with inhuman ability, he utilizes his incredible strength and knowledge of the animal kingdom to capture ferocious, evasive, and rare beasts to further his menu.
Toriko Part 4 Review Capsule Computers Toriko 's fourth block of episodes is the most balanced one yet: it's got action, exploration, world building, personal bonding, and of course eating—all in reasonable amounts. Toriko is a gourmet hunter searching for the most precious foods in the world so he can create his full course meal. a man with inhuman ability, he utilizes his incredible strength and knowledge of the animal kingdom to capture ferocious, evasive, and rare beasts to further his menu. While the first 26 episodes of “toriko” were fun, light, imaginative, and above all, hunger inducing, i was concerned about the staying power of the show. sadly, my concerns have grown after viewing parts 3 and 4. Accompanied by his loyal battle wolf and the promising young chef komatsu, toriko will circle the globe in search of the mouthwateringly lethal ingredients that will one day make up his full course menu of life!. Toriko lost what made it unique, and in doing so fell flat the later chapters, causing it’s ratings to steadily plumet. this, along with how bad the anime was in both animation and how it changed the story, we see a series held aloft by its manga that was slowly dying.
