Top Link Question Green Tractor Talk Unfortunately the top link does not have a grease zerk. haven't had a chance to pick up any pb blaster yet, but i will update as soon as i've tried some of the above suggestions. I took the time to really see how much of a challenge it would be to hook up a hydraulic top link from the back while off the tractor. i stood on one of the bottom links while hooked up to a land plane and found that i could reach the hydraulic control lever while guiding a top link for hook up. I spent some time talking this over with a couple of the guys at my dealer. after a few measurements and thinking it through this is what we came up with i feel it is the best fit for this tractor since i did this myself, otherwise fitrite makes a beautiful custom build. A solid top link would cause a bind if the up and down angles were to close together or steep, say in a draw or going across a creek bed. the chain will pull tight when lifting the mower, but will allow for the rear to be tipped up some.
